Meet Our Stellar Staff of Crossfit Certified Coaches

The Coaching staff of CrossFit Watchtower is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for people of all ages and abilities.  Our coaches all have extensive backgrounds in fitness and nutrition, and have received top notch training on how to safely and effectively coach athletes of all ages and ability levels.

Kevin Ogar, Owner of CrossFit Watchtower, coaches CrossFit in Denver

Kevin Ogar

Kevin Ogar is the Owner and Head Coach of CrossFit WatchTower. He is a Level 3 Certified CrossFit Trainer, has been coaching since early 2008, and is a member of the CrossFit Level 1 Seminar Staff. He is a 4-time Regional Competitor finishing as high as 6th in 2012. When he’s not at his gym, Kevin spends time with his fiancée Jess and his dogs Boondock and Diamond.

Megan John

Megan John is the former owner of CrossFit Manhattan in Kansas. She is a Level 2 Certified CrossFit Trainer, and has been coaching since 2008. She was a 5-time Regional Competitor, finishing as high as 4th Place in 2011. Currently, she competes in Weightlifting and Powerlifting.

Nick Therien

Nick comes to us from Rancho Santa Margarita, California. He started in 2014 at CrossFit Reform. His athletic background consists of football, baseball, ice/roller hockey, and track. Nick isn’t well versed in Justice League and leans more towards The Avengers, Transformers, and Star Wars. When he isn’t coaching, Nick is an Airline Pilot based in Denver. In his free time, Nick enjoys: golfing, camping, shooting guns, random drives, happy hours, sporting events, snowboarding, and occasionally playing video games.

Lena Koschmann


Lena Koschmann moved to Denver in 2014. Born and raised in Alaska, she grew up with a great appreciation for the outdoors, and was active in high school sports. She began working for the National Park Service when she was 19, and has since made a career as a law enforcement officer with the agency. Her duty stations have included Glacier Bay, Lake Mead, Blue Ridge Parkway, Fire Island, and now the Intermountain Regional Office. Lena began CrossFitting in 2012, and immediately found a home and a community. She is passionate about bringing CrossFit and general preparedness to athletes from all walks of life, with a focus on law enforcement, emergency services, and military members who must be physically prepared for the rigorous demands of their jobs. She also teaches fitness and wellness classes to officers throughout her agency. She has a Bachelors in Environmental Studies, a Masters in Organizational Leadership. Lena continues to be active outdoors, and enjoys that CrossFit is an avenue to great physical capacity in all life’s endeavors. Lena is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and is Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified in exercise nutrition.
